New Delhi: Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s latest movie ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ is unstoppable, even after breaking most of the Box Office records.
According to latest media reports, the Prabhas-starrer flick has become the first Indian film to cross Rs 1000 cross mark worldwide.
Well, you heard it right! The movie has so far collected over Rs 800 crore in India and has minted more than Rs 200 crore overseas.
Earlier today, trade expert Ramesh Bala tweeted the same that read, “With ₹ 800+ Cr in India and ₹ 200+ Cr in Overseas, #Baahubali2 becomes the 1st Indian movie to do ₹ 1000 Cr @ WW BO.. #1000croreBaahubali.”
Film’s producer of Hindi dubbed version, Karan Johar took to twitter to share the news. “The biggest milestone has been reached by the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema!!!! #1000croreBaahubali @ssrajamouli,” he wrote.
‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ features Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, Nasser and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.
The film is about the battle between two warring brothers for an ancient kingdom. It was released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam respectively in over 6500 screens across India and in 9000 plus screens worldwide.
