Bihar CM Nitish Kumar expands Cabinet, 26 ministers take oath — Here’s the list of newly-inducted Cabinet ministers

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expanded his Cabinet on Saturday and inducted 26 ministers into his team. The swearing-in took place in Raj Bhawan today evening.




Nitish was sworn in for the sixth times as Bihar Chief Minister on Thursday, a day after he dumped the ruling Mahagathbandhan and joined hands with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi was appointed as the deputy chief minister of the state.

Eleven of BJP, 1 of LJP and 14 of the JD(U) took oath as ministers.

The members were administered the oath of office by Bihar Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi. Most of the JD(U) ministers of the grand alliance government were retained.
